C Nikko Asset Management has welcomed back Naoki Kamiyama after 15 years. Mr Kamiyama rejoins as chief strategist and will sit as a member of the company’s global investment committee. He was most recently head of Japan strategy for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
C The UK’s first municipal bonds agency has hired a chairman and vice-chairman as it gets ready to launch. Sir Merrick Cockell, former chairman of the Local Government Association, will be chairman of the Local Capital Finance Company, while Adrian Bell, head of debt markets for Canaccord Genuity, will be vice-chairman.
C Trevor Greetham has left Fidelity Worldwide Investment, where he had been asset allocation director since 2006, to join Royal London Asset Management as head of multi-asset.
C Union Bancaire Privée has hired Koon Chow as senior macro and foreign exchange strategist in its emerging markets fixed income team. He was previously at Barclays, where he headed up EM strategy in local rates and FX.
C In December, Andy Wiggins joined Amundi as head of UK and Ireland institutional business. Mr Wiggins used to be head of UK institutional business development at Allianz Global Investors. Amundi has also hired Jeannine Daniels (formerly a senior analyst at Kedge Capital Services) as head of equity strategies at Amundi Alternative Investments.
C The TCW Group has added a senior analyst and a senior bank loan trader to its fixed income team. Analyst Melinda Newman joins from First Pacific Advisors, where she was head of corporate credit research for fixed income, while trader Drew Sweeney was the bank loan portfolio manager for Bradford & Marzec.
C Bank J Safra Sarasin has hired Serge Ledermann as head of asset management in Switzerland. Mr Ledermann, who joins from Retraites Populaires where he was deputy chief executive, will also sit on the executive committee.
C Théodore Economou has left the CERN pension fund where he was chief executive and chief investment officer, to join Lombard Odier Investment Managers as chief investment officer of its multi-asset business.

C Steve Renfrew has joined Barclays as regional head of its wealth and investment division in the northwest of England. Mr Renfrew moves from RBS, where he was head of specialist banking. He replaces Alan Edwards, who has joined Julius Baer.
